BYR PEX Company took part in the International Specialized Exhibition 'Moscow Region Construction Week - 2010'. It ran at IEC "Crocus Expo" in Moscow since 3rd till 5th August 2010. Additional information is at http://www.snmo.ru/index.htm (Russian). We were glad to see you at our stand #22-2.

BYR PEX Corporation was awarded with the 3rd Grade Diploma in "Energy Saving, Energetic Effectiveness" category for "Comprehensive approach to creation of energetically effective internal building systems".

New russian abbrevations for cross-linkable polyethylenes are introduced. The table contains the mapping between old and new abbrevations.

New abbrevation	Cross-linking type	Old abbrevation
ПЭ-пс	peroxide	PEX-a
ПЭ-сс	silane	PEX-b
ПЭ-рс	radiation	PEX-c

These notations are composed of well-known abbrevation for PEX - ПЭ (полиэтилен) with added code for its type:
— first letter denotes the crosslinking type, see the table;
— second letter "c" means "cross-linkable".

"BYR PEX Standard UV-stop" Pipe

The main distinguishing trait of this kind of pipe is its absolute resistance to ultra-violet rays.

BYR PEX Company as always is not issuing the challenge of creating "an advantage" by simply adding a colourant to the main material of pipe, or by adding some sort of "protection layers", that does not have real influence on pipe's characteristics.

Firstly, start of production of UV-resistant pipe is caused by need for protection of material in case of wrong storage conditions. Regerdless of time and place of storing, such pipe may be used according to the specification.

Secondly, this pipe may not be used for open laying inside the buildings. Moreover, its use enforces the utilization of appliance connection end groups. This all conforms to modern conception of energy-effective and aesthetic water-supply or heating system.

All other properties and product range are the same as for «BYR PEX Standard» pipes.
